My purpose of travel was to explore Quito and I had a delightful stay at Community Hostel. The staff, including Bere, Kari, and Vero, were friendly and lively, creating a lovely and safe atmosphere. The unique building, a former convent, added to the interesting experience. The beds were comfortable and quiet, ensuring a good night's sleep. The delicious food prepared by chef Jerly was a treat for my taste buds. I also enjoyed the activities offered and the overall social atmosphere of the hostel. I'll definitely be back to see the amazing staff again!

The hostel offers a variety of accommodations, including private rooms and dorms with lockers. The bathrooms are clean and equipped with warm, high-pressure showers. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering tours and tips for exploring the area. The common areas, such as the kitchen and TV room, provide a cozy atmosphere for guests to relax. Additionally, the rooftop is a great spot to enjoy happy hour with fellow travelers.
There is a shortage of forks and spoons in the kitchen, which can be inconvenient for guests.

The hostel is conveniently located near a local market where you can find affordable meals. The double private room is spacious and the bathrooms are cleaned daily. The friendly staff is always willing to help, and the bunk beds are comfortable and big.
Some guests mentioned that the hostel can be noisy early in the morning due to loud music playing in the common area during breakfast.

I had a wonderful stay at Community Hostel for 4 nights. The staff, especially Indiana, was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast, for just $3, was delicious. The property was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The location was great, just a few minutes from the Central Mercado and the main tourist attractions. The free walking tours, led by Etiel, were informative and enjoyable. Definitely the best hostel in Ecuador!
I would recommend this hotel.
